Terms and Conditions for entering a charity challenge event

  1. You commit to raising at least the minimum sponsorship pledge for the Barts Cancer Institute for the charity challenge you have signed up for. If you are unable to meet the minimum sponsorship, you agree to make up the balance yourself.

  2. For all events, your full minimum sponsorship amount must be received by the Barts Cancer Institute at least 2 weeks before the event date.

  3. If you withdraw from the event with less than 3 weeks’ notice you will be liable for the remaining balance of the pledge. Any sponsorship money raised will be treated as donations.

  4. You agree to raise all money using legal methods.

  5. You understand that Gift Aid is not included in your minimum sponsorship.

  6. You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health and fitness is good and you take full responsibility for your training. If you are unsure in anyway, you will seek advice from your GP.

  7. You agree to Barts Cancer Institute storing the information that you provided on their database.

  8. You give Barts Cancer Institute permission to use any photographs/videos taken of you at this event, to raise awareness and/or money for the Barts Cancer Institute.

  9. You agree that Barts Cancer Institute may share your details with the event organiser.

  10. You understand that your registration fee is non-refundable and includes VAT.
