Our research
We conduct discovery research with a clear line-of-sight to the clinic, exploring the fundamental biology driving cancer to transform patient care. Working with Barts Health NHS Trust, we study London’s diverse cancer patient population to ensure advances in research benefit everyone.

PharosAI awarded funding to explore AI ‘digital twins’ of human tissue
PharosAI – a partnership between Queen Mary University of London, King’s College London and two NHS Trusts, Guy’s and St Thomas, and Barts Health – has received Innovate UK funding to explore whether AI can predict complex biological information from routinely collected tissue data. The project, called DESTINY, will investigate whether AI can predict molecular information that would otherwise require costly and time-consuming tests.
