Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) is a B-cell malignancy that is the most common type of leukaemia in adults. Most cases of CLL depend on B-cell receptor signalling (BCR).

Importantly, our group have previously described that BCR signalling in normal B-cells is promoted by the voltage gated proton channel (HVCN1) function. Thus, I am studying the role of HVCN1 during CLL progression with the aim of developing new therapeutic strategies targeting CLL.
