Barts Cancer Institute is internationally renowned in multiple areas of cancer research. Our strength lies in our culture of close, multidisciplinary collaboration among our more than 350 research staff and 100 graduate students, based across 7 scientific centres and units.
We conduct discovery research with a clear line-of-sight to the clinic, exploring the fundamental biology driving cancer to transform patient care. Working with Barts Health NHS Trust, we study London’s diverse cancer patient population to ensure advances in research benefit everyone.
Our research is supported by a number of Core Services. The institute's infrastructure and service support creates an ambitious environment, supporting cutting-edge cancer research.
