All of our 15 and 7.5 credit taught modules are available to be studied as individual modules for non-award bearing learning.

Modes of Study
Individual modules can be studied either on campus or via distance learning.
Submission of assessment is optional.
Semester 1 modules are studied September – December. Exams will be in January.
Semester 2 modules are studied January – March. Exams will be in March/April.
• priority for onsite study is given to students applying for award bearing courses
• overseas students studying individual modules cannot be sponsored for Tier 4 visas
Distance learning is delivered via the University’s online learning platform - QMplus. Onsite lectures are recorded and made available to Distance Learning students, together with copies of the slides and other supporting materials.
Posters and oral presentations will be delivered via Skype.
Examinations can be at Queen Mary University of London or at an approved local venue (usually a British Council or a local Academic Institution)
Entry Requirements and How to apply
Applicants will be required to have an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject or commensurate experience.
English Language Requirements
Applicants for whom English is not a first language will also require a minimum IELTS score of 7 (with 5.5 in each component) or equivalent, unless their undergraduate degree was studied in and awarded by an English speaking country (https://www.gov.uk/tier-4-general-visa/knowledge-of-english).
