Overview

My research aims to elucidate the molecular landscape of familial Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), focusing on the functional consequences of mutations in RNA helicases such as DDX41 and DHX34. Utilizing an integrated approach that couples single-cell and Total RNA-seq with functional models in primary human bone marrow, the work focuses on fingerprinting Variants of Unknown Significance (VUS) to improve clinical stratification. This research stream bridges the gap between basic RNA biology and clinical translation to prevent donor-derived leukaemia and identify novel therapeutic targets.
