Overview
My research focuses on how active transposable elements contribute to anti-tumour immunity through the induction of ‘viral mimicry’ in cancer cells. Using acute myeloid leukaemia as a model, I investigate how epigenetic therapies can drive transposable element reactivation and stimulate innate immune responses, with the aim of uncovering novel epigenetic regulatory pathways and therapeutic vulnerabilities.
