Overview
My PhD research focuses on developing next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) methods for early breast cancer diagnosis using multimodal medical data, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, pathology, and clinical information. The project aims to improve cancer detection, lesion characterisation, segmentation, and treatment outcome prediction through advanced deep learning, computer vision, and foundation model approaches. Ultimately, this work seeks to develop robust, interpretable, and clinically deployable AI tools that support healthcare professionals in delivering earlier and more accurate breast cancer diagnosis across diverse patient populations.
