Today, on World Cancer Day, join us as we go behind the scenes at Queen Mary’s Barts Cancer Institute (BCI) and meet the people who are making progress possible.
This month, we welcomed a total of 43 aspiring young scientists from across London to the Barts Cancer Institute (BCI), Queen Mary University of London, where they had the opportunity to meet researchers, try their hands in the lab and learn more about what it takes to become a scientist.
We recently welcomed a group of 16 cancer patient advocates into our labs for the 11th edition of our VOICE science for advocates course, co-run with the charity Independent Cancer Patients’ Voice.
An artwork by Professor Tyson V. Sharp from Barts Cancer Institute at Queen Mary University of London has been selected for display in Room VIII at the Royal Academy of Art’s prestigious Summer Exhibition.
