Today, on World Cancer Day, we’re sharing a new film. Join us as we go behind the scenes at Barts Cancer Institute (BCI), Queen Mary University of London and meet the people who are making progress possible.
Every cancer and every cancer patient is unique. Making meaningful progress depends on people with different backgrounds, experiences and expertise working together — scientists, clinicians, technicians, patients and many others — to tackle cancer’s complexity, overcome inequalities and ensure everyone benefits from advances.
Everyone at BCI plays a role in shaping a future free from the fear of cancer, whether they’re leading clinical trials, making discoveries in the lab, keeping our facilities running or sharing their personal experiences of cancer.
Thank you to everyone in our community for the work you do.
