MRC Doctoral Training Partnership Programme in Translational Biomedical Sciences

Anonymised Application Form – Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London

Charterhouse Square Campus, Queen Mary University of London.

The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London is determined to provide the most supportive environment for maximising equality, diversity and inclusion for our staff, students and visitors. To that end we are introducing anonymised application forms for students applying to the MRC DTP Programme in Translational Biomedical Sciences at Queen Mary, so that reviewers cannot be biased (intentionally or unintentionally) by knowledge of, for example, your age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sex.

Application guidance for September 2026 entry
Closing date for applications is Wednesday 14th January 2026

Important: Please do not complete the anonymous form until you have submitted your MySIS application form and have your Applicant ID Number confirmed. The information provided in the Anonymised Application will be the ONLY information reviewers will see when shortlisting for potential candidates.

  1. Firstly, you MUST complete the standard Queen Mary University of London application form online. Completing the form (including all requested document uploads) will generate a unique application number for you that must be inserted at the start of the Anonymised Application form, so the two are linked specifically to you.
  2. Secondly, please fill in the Anonymised Application Form below. To avoid writing your answers twice, you can copy and paste your answers from the first form. This form cannot be saved for later or updated once submitted.
When answering the questions do not provide any personal or geographical information that might identify who you are.

Your application cannot be considered until you have completed both application forms.

Our process is to first identify the very best candidates from our applicants and then present them with 30+ project rotations from which three will be pursued in their initial MRes year.

Applications are now closed.
